A test flight will be conducted at Gautam Buddha International Airport this afternoon. The widebody aircraft of Nepal Airlines Corporation will be used for a flight.
For the test flight, a widebody aircraft of Nepal Airlines Corporation is scheduled to take off from Kathmandu at 3 pm today and land at Gautam Buddha International Airport at 3.45 pm.
Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Prem Bahadur Ale and 260 others will be on board the flight. The same flight of the corporation will return to Kathmandu at 5:45 pm. Earlier, a Thai company had conducted a 10-day mechanical test flight at the airport.
Jajira Airlines has agreed to operate three flights a week at the airport from May 16.
