PM directs police to work without pressure

Kathmandu – Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has directed the Nepal Police to conduct a fair investigation based on evidence and facts without any pressure.

Inaugurating ‘The Blue Pavilion’ built on the premises of the Nepal Police Club in Bhrikutimandap, Prime Minister Oli has directed them to move forward firmly in maintaining the rule of law and peace and security in the country.

‘You should act according to the expectations of the people. The people expect impartial and good behavior from the police. Therefore, you should work according to the constitution and law, keeping the interests of the country and the people at the center,’ he said. ‘Investigate any smugglers, corrupt people and fraudsters with confidence. Work more effectively by maintaining peace and order in the country and keeping in mind national interests and unity.’

At the program, Prime Minister Oli released the History of Nepal Police Part-2 and honored the officers, technicians, and builders who contributed to the construction of the building.
