Pokhara- Pokhara Metropolitan City, which was declared the tourism capital on Chaitra 4, is preparing to celebrate 2025 as Pokhara Visit Year.

A 1,051-member main organizing committee has been formed under the coordination of Pokhara Metropolitan City Mayor Dhanraj Acharya, a 51-member director committee led by Mayor Acharya, and another 15-member work execution committee.

The metropolis has set a target of bringing 2 million tourists to Pokhara during the visit year.

The metropolis has also urged tourism entrepreneurs to promote tourism and provide various package programs for tourists during the visit year. The information issued by the metropolis states that the packages should be made available in the metropolis by Magh 28.

Pokhara Metropolitan City Mayor Dhanraj Acharya has planned to run programs to promote Pokhara throughout the visit year and also announce a goodwill ambassador to promote Pokhara abroad.
