Political instability affects economy: PM Oli

Kathmandu — Speaking at the inauguration program of the Nepal Chamber Expo held in Kathmandu, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that political instability has negatively affected the country’s economy.

Prime Minister Oli has said that everyone should move forward together to return the country to the right direction and rhythm from the adverse impact on the economy, make the country’s trade and business dynamic and take Nepal from an underdeveloped country to a middle-income country by 2026.

Stating that Nepal is rapidly moving forward with development work, he also said that the government has moved forward in a way that the IT sector can be promoted as an export trade. However, he said that the country cannot develop without infrastructure and that everyone’s initiative and cooperation are needed for that.
