April 19-Kathmandu – President Ramchandra Puudel has been taken to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Hospital in New Delhi for further treatment.

President Poudel was taken to India for further treatment at the request of his family. However, according to the doctor involved in the treatment, he was tested by draining the frozen water in his chest and the initial tests showed normal conditions other than infection. His MRI and CT scan reports also said that there were no complications other than infection.

According to President Paudel’s press advisor Kiran Pokharel, Paudel was taken to New Delhi on Wednesday morning by air ambulance of Shree Airlines. Paudel was accompanied by his personal doctor Dr. Niraj Bam, family members, and a team of 7 doctors.
