Reduction in Supreme Court service with increasing risk of corona infection

The Supreme Court has cut its services as coronavirus infections continue to rise. By cutting services, the Supreme Court has decided to hear only the most urgent cases.

A full sitting of the Supreme Court on Tuesday had decided to continue hearing only in urgent cases from today to February 2. The hearing on the petitions and reports of the detainees as per the conciliation proceedings and the national criminal procedure will continue even during the period of service cut. In the case of district courts and other tribunals, the court has also decided to proceed on the basis of local situation and risk.
