Report on Lalita Niwas case submitted to Public Prosecutor’s Office today

The report prepared by the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) after investigating the case of embezzlement of government land at Lalita Niwas has been submitted to the Public Prosecutor’s Office, Kathmandu today.

According to the report submitted by the Central Bureau of Investigation, more than 350 defendants including Former secretaries, former ministers and people with high political affiliations have been involved. Police have so far arrested only two persons in the Lalita Niwas case and will file a case against all the others through the government prosecutor’s office.
