Bamdev Gautam, the coordinator of the CPN-Ekta National Campaign, said that it would be appropriate for the USA to withdraw the MCC project.

In a statement, Gautam, who is also a member of the National Assembly, said that the return of MCC would be the best option if the sovereign parliament of Nepal and Nepali psychology would be divided due to MCC.

Gautam also said that after the agreement reached with the MCC, serious partisanship towards the United States has started to arise in Nepal. Gautam suspects that the implementation of the agreement will jeopardize Nepal’s independence and sovereignty.
