Kathmandu – Speaking at the International Relations and Tourism Committee of the House of Representatives, RSP MP Shishir Khanal has demanded the formation of a parliamentary inquiry committee on the alleged irregularities in the widebody aircraft.

British citizens of Nepali origin have admitted to giving 330 million Nepali officials in the US, he said. “Meanwhile, the Authority has filed a case in Nepal and the Special Court has already given its verdict, but the court has raised questions about the Authority officials and the investigation itself,” MP Khanal said. He demanded that the parliamentary committee form an inquiry committee and look into it independently.

“The Special Court has raised questions about the issue that should be investigated, so questions have arisen about an independent investigation,” he said. “That is why let’s form an inquiry committee.”

According to the leaders, there was a discussion within the RSP about making such a demand.
