Telephone conversation between French President Emmanuel Macron and Russian President Putin has been leaked.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has called the leaking of a telephone conversation between French President Emmanuel Macron and Russian President Vladimir Putin a “violation of diplomatic etiquette.”

Stating that such recorded talks should not have been unilaterally made public in the context of diplomatic dignity, Lavrov said there was nothing to embarrass Russia about the content of the talks between the two leaders.
