The General Impeachment Recommendation Committee of the House of Representatives has prepared a draft to finalize the procedure to start the study on the impeachment proposal against the suspended Chief Justice Cholendra Shamsher Jabara.

After about 6 months, the first meeting of the committee held today at Singh Darbar has also decided to give the right to the secretariat to prepare the draft agenda for finalizing the indictment in the next meeting.

It has been reported that the meeting of the committee held today will discuss and decide on the draft procedure in the next meeting. According to the committee, the committee has prepared a draft of the procedure by using the authority given by sub-rule (5) of rule 163 of the House of Representatives Rules, 2075 to present the agenda in the next meeting on behalf of the secretariat in coordination with all the committee members.
