Nepali Congress leader Ram Chandra Poudel has said that the issue of US aid Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) has entered the House from the streets and now the nation’s attention is focused on the issue.

Talking to the leaders of the political parties represented in the federal parliament about the MCC, he said that the MCC would now be discussed in the House.

After today’s discussion with Janata Samajwadi Party Chairman Upendra Yadav, he told the mediapersons that they had discussed the complex situation of MCC and the country from different angles.

He expressed confidence that the assistance provided by the United States for the purpose of alleviating poverty in Nepal and constructing transmission lines for export to foreign countries would increase the income of the country, help alleviate poverty and benefit the people.
