Kathmandu: The CPN-UML has removed leader Bhim Rawal from party membership. The UML secretariat meeting held on Wednesday has removed him from organized membership.
‘He became a candidate for president in the last general convention. Even when he was asked to become vice president, he did not accept it. He did not become a central member either. Even when he was given an advisor, he did not fulfill his responsibilities. That is why the party has decided to remove him from organized membership,’ said Deputy General Secretary Gyawali.
Meanwhile, leader Rawal has said that the action against him is the result of Oli’s autocratic, arbitrary and dictatorial mindset.
Similarly, Standing Committee member Binda Pandey and central member Usha Kiran Timalsena have been removed from their responsibilities for 6 months.
