UML’s Narayan Prasad Adhikari has been elected as the chairman of the District Coordination Committee Chitwan.

In the election between the ruling coalition and the UML, 7/7 number of vote for the each candidate made the result equal. After the equal number of vote a lottery system was held for the final result. From a lottery between Purna Bahadur Ranabhat of the alliance and Narayan Prasad Adhikari of the CPN-UML,Adhikari emerged victorious .

Kalpana Kafle Sapkota, a candidate of the unified socialist from the coalition, was elected unopposed as the deputy chief.
