The first convention of the Bagmati Pradesh Committee of the CPN (UML) is scheduled to be held in Kathmandu on January 22 and 23. The third meeting of the office bearers of the organizing committee formed under the chairmanship of state committee chairman Keshav Pandey has formed various sub-committees to conclude the convention.

Representatives have to be selected for the convention by January 16. UML has scheduled the district convention on January 7 and the provincial convention on January 22 in all the states.
