CPN-U has called a secretariat meeting. Spokesperson Jagannath Khatiwada said that a meeting of the secretariat will be held shortly.

The standing committee meeting held on Saturday has given the right to decide on MCC to the secretariat meeting. The Unified Socialists have allowed the MCC to be introduced in Parliament.

However, leader Jhala Nath Khanal had protested in Parliament against the introduction of MCC. After the MCC was introduced in the House of Representatives on Monday, the Unified Socialists have called a secretariat meeting.
