The proposal of party unity has been taken forward in a meeting between Rastriya Prajatantra Party Chairman Rajendra Lingden and Vibekshil Saja Party Chairman Rabindra Mishra .

It is said that the issue of party unity was discussed during the meeting with RPP Chairman Rajendra Lingden and General Secretary Dhawal Shamsher Rana. As Rabindra Mishra has been liberal in his views on the monarchy for the past few months and raised the issue of a referendum on federalism and secularism, RPP Chairman Lingden is positive towards the party unification.

However, after being elected as the chairperson of the Ekta General Convention, Lingden had formed a dialogue committee under the coordination of Rana to unite with like-minded forces in the first meeting of RPP. Chairman Lingden has also announced to bring together all the scattered forces to bring back the Hindu state and monarchy.
