Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit Postponed: PM’s Visit Uncertain

The Gujarat government has postponed the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit to be held from January 10 to 12, as the number of people infected with the Omicron variant of Coronavirus is increasing day by day in India.

On behalf of Nepal, a 25-member delegation including Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba had planned to leave for India on the same day to attend the summit. No formal decision has been made on whether the Prime Minister will visit India after the postponement.
