BPS Leasing and Management under Batas Organization has started the process of illegal hotel construction inside the Narayanhiti Durbar Museum.

The Narayanhiti Durbar Museum and the Republic Monument Management and Operations Committee should seek permission from the Kathmandu Metropolitan to build or add structures inside the palace. But without any such permission, BPS Leasing and Management under Batas Organization has been illegally constructing and adding various concrete structures for the operation of the hotel.

Narayanhiti Durbar Museum and Republic Monument Management and Operations Committee has signed a purchase agreement of Rs. 220,000 monthly, ​without finalizing the area to be used by the hotel on the premises.

During the time of the then Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Yogesh Bhattarai and Secretary Yadav Prasad Koirala, it was decided to lease the land inside the Narayanhiti Durbar Museum and the Republic Monument.

Similarly, BPS Leasing and Management under Batas Organization is also running a hotel inside Dharamshala under Pashupati Area Development Fund. Without the approval of the Board of Directors of Pashupati Area Development Fund, the then Member Secretary Dr. Pradip Dhakal had approved the lease procedure, 2019 AD and published a notice to lease the dharamshala on februaryary 12, 2019 AD.
