The government has decided to ban Nepalese from visiting Malaysia and Gulf countries on visit visas.

Home Ministry spokesperson Phanindra Mani Pokhrel said in a statement today.After receiving a lot of complaints from Nepalese stranded abroad, the government decided to ban Nepalese from going to Malaysia and Gulf countries on a Visit visa. The ban on visit visas will remain in place until further notice, the statement said.
