A woman who showed a black flag to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been shot.
Rita Yadav, who showed a black flag to Prime Minister Modi, was shot in Sultanpur, Uttar Pradesh. She was shot in the leg and admitted to Sultanpur District Hospital. The shooter has not been identified.


On November 16, Rita Yadav showed a black flag while Prime Minister Modi was addressing the inauguration ceremony of the Eastern Expressway in Sultanpur. Police arrested and released her two days later. She joined the Congress a month after the incident. Before that, she was known as an intense social worker in Sultanpur.


According to reports, Rita Yadav was shot on the highway near Lambhuja while returning home from Sultanpur to make posters and banners.
