Government preparing to pass ordinances through fast track

Kathmandu- The cabinet meeting held on Tuesday said that it is preparing to pass the ordinances brought by the government through fast track.

Minister for Communications Prithvi Subba Gurung has said that the ordinances issued by the President on the recommendation of the Government of Nepal during the winter session have been registered with the Parliament Secretariat and that it has been decided to pass those ordinances through fast track during this winter session.

Gurung said that it has been decided to make the regulations for the implementation of the ordinances quickly and said that it has been decided to make the regulations for the implementation of the ordinances promptly.

Constitution will be amended only with national consensus: Minister Gurung

Rupandehi – Speaking at a press conference organized in Rupandehi, Minister for Communications and Information Technology Prithvi Subba Gurung has said that the constitution can be amended only with national consensus.

Meanwhile, the government is trying to amend old laws through an ordinance to maintain good governance for the country and citizens. Saying that opposition has made unnecessary propaganda on the issue of constitutional amendment, he said that the opposition should pay attention to its content rather than opposing the ordinance.

He said that there is no point in opposing the ordinance brought by the government.
