Monsoon is currently affecting the country. It is generally cloudy in most parts of the country with light to moderate rain in a few places in Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces and light rain in one or two places in the rest of the country .

July 9 (Tuesday)

In the afternoon, it will be generally cloudy across the country. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder/lightning at some places in Koshi, Madhesh, Lumbini, and Gandaki provinces and a couple of places in the remaining provinces. There is a possibility of heavy rain in one or two places of Koshi, Madhesh and Gandaki provinces.

At night, it will be mostly cloudy across the country. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder/lightning at some places in Koshi, Madhesh, Lumbini, and Gandaki provinces and a couple of places in the remaining provinces. There is a possibility of heavy rain in one or two places in Koshi, Madhesh, Lumbini and Gandaki provinces. Also, there is a possibility of very heavy rain in one or two places in Koshi province.

July 10 (Wednesday)

In the afternoon, it will be generally cloudy across the country. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder/lightning at some places in Koshi, Madhesh, Lumbini and Gandaki provinces and a couple of places in the remaining provinces. There is a possibility of heavy rain in few places of Koshi and Madhesh provinces and one or two places of Bagmati and Gandaki provinces. Also, there is a possibility of very heavy rain in one or two places of Koshi and Madhesh provinces.

There is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder/lightning at some places in Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, Gandaki and Sudurpaschim provinces and one or two places in the remaining provinces. There is a possibility of heavy rain in one or two places of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini regions.

Warning and advisory for the next 24 hours: Light to moderate rain with thunder/lightning in some parts of the country and heavy rain in one or two places in Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini states, may occur in those areas. According to the Meteorological Department, Department of Water and Meteorology, the monsoon is currently having a general effect across the country.

At present, Gandaki, Lumbini and Far-Western provinces are experiencing normal to full-scale changes, while the rest of the country is experiencing partial to normal changes. Most parts of Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali and Far-Western states are receiving light to moderate rains with thunderstorms and heavy rains in one or two places and light to moderate rains in one or two places in the rest of the country.

July 9 (Saturday)

Afternoon: There will be normal to full cloud cover in the hilly areas of the country and there will be partial to normal cloud cover in the rest of the country. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunderstorms / thunderstorms in Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali and many places in the far western states and some parts of the rest of the states. Heavy rains are expected in Lumbini and a few places in the far western region as well as in Gandaki and Karnali.

Night: In the hilly parts of the country, the weather will be partly to moderately cloudy and in the rest of the country, the weather will be partly to normal. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain in some places of Province 1, Gandaki and Karnali and one or two places in the rest of the country.

Afternoon: There will be partial to normal cloud cover across the country. Light to moderate rain with thunderstorms / thunderstorms is expected in some parts of the hilly terrain of the country and in the rest of the country.
