The Nepal Mazdoor Kisan Party (NMKP) today staged a protest in front of the Parliament House, New Baneshwor with slogans against the MCC. The Workers ‘and Peasants’ Party (PKP) has protested against the US-backed Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) agreement.

Party cadres have protested with leaflets and pamphlets. The Nepal Mazdoor Kisan Party (NMKP) today staged simultaneous demonstrations in Kathmandu and various cities across the country against the MCC.

Meanwhile, Home Minister Bal Krishna Khand expressed confidence that the MCC (Millennium Challenge Corporation) would be passed through consensus among the political parties. But the citizens have been protesting against the MCC for a long time while the government is busy seeking consensus among the political parties.
