Most private hospitals in Janakpur operating illegally

Janakpur- Most private hospitals in Janakpur have been found to be operating illegally. Most private hospitals from Mujelia to Bhramarpurachowk in Janakpurdham have been found to be operating illegally.

Following continuous complaints of serious negligence in treatment, Madhesh Chief Minister Satish Kumar Singh had monitored 20 hospitals in Janakpurdham on Saturday.

During the monitoring, it was found that most of the hospitals were operating without registration and those that were registered were also operating against standards, according to the Chief Minister’s Office.

On Saturday, the Chief Minister had monitored Jeevan Jyoti Hospital and Research Center Pvt. Ltd., BN Hospital and Research Center Pvt. Ltd., Janakpur Sita Hospital Pvt. Ltd., Janakpur Grande Hospital Pvt. Ltd., Rama Memorial Hospital and Research Center, Multi-Specialty Hospital and Trauma Center.

Similarly, the Chief Minister also visited Summer Hospital, Care Medical Center Pvt. Ltd., Nepal Apollo Hospital Pvt. Ltd., Shriram Hospital Pvt. Ltd., Nayana Hospital & Pvt. Ltd., Armaan Hospital Pvt. Ltd., andMihilal International Pvt. Ltd.

During the monitoring, Chief Minister Singh also visited Sahyog Hospital Pvt. Ltd., Janakpur Modern Hospital and Research Center Pvt. Ltd., Maa Gayatri Memorial Hospital Pvt. Ltd., Max Hospital and Research Center Pvt. Ltd., Swastika Healthcare Hospital Pvt. Ltd., Life Care and Research Center Pvt. Ltd. and Om Dirghayu Hospital Pvt. Ltd.

The Chief Minister directed the immediate closure of hospitals operating without permission from the federal, provincial and local governments as per the law. After it was found that most hospitals in Janakpurdham were operating without meeting the standards of manpower, physical infrastructure, equipment, cleanliness, etc., the Chief Minister directed the hospital operators to lock them by Sunday.

Chief Minister Singh has directed the operators of hospitals that have been operating illegally and have not met the criteria despite receiving approval to contact the government on Sunday with all documents. He has also warned hospitals that have received approval but not renewed, are in the approval process, and are operating without approval to operate their services only after obtaining legality.

Chief Minister Singh directs to close Muskan Hospital

Janakpur- Chief Minister Satish Kumar Singh has directed to immediately close Muskan Hospital in Janakpur, citing negligence in treatment and registration.

After news was published that there was negligence in the gallbladder surgery and the patient had not recovered even 20 days after the surgery, Chief Minister Singh, who went to monitor the hospital, came to know that the hospital was being operated illegally without even registering it and ordered to close the hospital and hand over the keys.

After it was found that the hospital was not registered, Chief Minister Singh directed to manage the three patients undergoing treatment here in other hospitals and to lock the hospital by 11 am and hand over the keys to the government, and also directed to immediately take Babita Kumari Yadav out in another hospital and provide proper treatment.

After undergoing gallbladder surgery on Magh 3, 25-year-old Babita Kumari Yadav of Haripurwa Municipality Ward No. 5 in Sarlahi is still unconscious.
